On the Road Again
| We leave on Friday for Snowshoe, WV to enjoy 3 days of skiing. The conditions are going to be better than expected, so we plan on seeing plenty of fresh powder. We've never been to this resort before, but it is supposed to house the best slopes south of New York. Contained within it is our lodging, restaurants, shopping, indoor - heated waterpark and other ammenities that are an added benefit. The trails open at 9am, and don't close until 9pm - so we will be able to get tons of skiing in. Of course, we are taking a bus load of youth with us, and although we will enjoy ourselves, it is still a daunting task that we take seriously. The instances that could occur are ever lingering in our minds. We pray that our 7th graders will somehow find a couple ounces of common sense before we head off in a few days, but somehow, I'm afraid that's not going to happen. Nevertheless, it's Snowshoe or bust.
