The weather outside was frightful...
| Cold now has an entirely new meaning to me. Having lived in the deep south all of my life, I considered weather in the 20's to be extreme. However, while we were in West Virginia, I sincerely longed for 20 degree weather. It would have been a welcome delight. But temperatures in the single digits and below were my lot instead. One evening, the cold, combined with the wind chill sent the temperature plummeting to -35. Yes, negative. I always thought that I loved cold weather, but maybe, just maybe, I've changed my mind.
