light at the end of the tunnel
 For months now, our yard has been nothing more than a huge dirt pile - interrupted only by random weeds scattered about. Just recently has the area even been cleared of much of the debris left by the builders. You know, beer bottles, beer cans, beer cups, beer pitchers - etcetera. However, all of that is about to change. Landscaping is just around the corner. We've found a good price on sod and have been collecting shrubs and other plants here and there. The best thing is that included in the price of the sod, is installation. Rick is probably going to install the sprinkler system for us - and then we'll be ready to go. Thankfully, our yard lends itself to some areas remaining pretty natural, so we're going to try and keep it simple. Although I'm sure it will continue to be a work in progress, this will be a huge step for us. I'll try and post some real pictures when we finish. |
